Superimposition of isometric drawing and photograph The image consists of an isometric drawing and a photograph put together so that the inside of the section is visible. This type of drawing is used for brochures and is particularly well-suited to posters used at exhibitions. The product on this drawing is a T2 valve from Danfoss Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
Isometric drawing With an isometric drawing you can see the interior functions of the product. Isometric drawings are used in technical literature to describe the product’s individual parts and their functions, as well as how one function affects another. The drawing illustrates a Sauer-Danfoss solenoid valve which distributes energy in motors.
Colour drawing Drawings are often combined with colours in order to make the composition of the product graphically clear. This is chiefly used for catalogues and other printed materials where the contents are to illustrate a product’s technical capabilities. The drawing was made for Sauer-Danfoss.
Functional diagram Example of a functional diagram for a hydraulics motor. It can for example show the curves for the constant oil flow and the relationship between speed and air pressure. The drawing was made for Sauer-Danfoss.
